: BSA Ultra

Now here's a little gem that is impossible to put down.
Super short ( compare its overall size to the bi pod fitted), very accurate and recoilless action.
30-40 shots, a bit low but is an ideal barn gun or for carrying on the hunt all day.
Easy to pump back to 200 bar( 2900 PSI) fill pressure.
Front of stock micro movement cocking system and assisted opening bolt probe.
There is a multi shot version, but what with it being so much fun and accurate you'll be for ever filling.
Super compact dimensions make it a breeze for shooting in confined spaces or when lamping at night from a vehicle.
Sound moderator fitted in the pics (U.K) is a parker hale all steel 25 baffle unit and reduces the operating sound at the shooters end to a 'ping' as the hammer hits the release valve and down range only the hiss of the pellet as it speeds toward the target. It is quite possible to bowl over a few 'varmints' (is that the right term?) without giving the game away by noisy operations at the shooters end.

Cheers all

Well John we must have pretty much the same taste in air guns...:) I love my Ultra as well. I started my carbine collection with my first BSA Ultra..:) I cannot say enough about how accurat and smoot shooting it is. The last picutre has a Bushy Legend laying along side my Ultra...:)

The scope on the Ultra is a Burris..

You truly are a man of taste! The Ultra tac stock is a real practical option for all weather use. Certainly soaks up the bumps and bruises of the field that wood can sometimes suffer.

I've fitted mine out with the Hawke MAP 6 3-9X40 scope, makes hold under and over for differant ranges a doddle and takes the guess work out when snap shooting in the field. Real handy for the wind guns

Wow John, that is what is on my Ultra now...:) A Hawk Air Max 4-16-40 AO Balistic Dot. Yes it works great for the hold over. I also have a BSA Xl .177 which is a fabulously accurate springer..:)  Maybe we are twins of some sort...:)
