I recently used a PM to recommend a tuner I'll call Voldemort. While I was deleting some of my sent PM's, I noticed that Voldemort's name and an associated link had turned from English into upper keyboard gibberish. Is this something that is automatically done by the forum's software or by the mod's?

i notice when i type swear words and certain tuners names it does the same

Not so much as I use it to refer to a certain tuner who shall not be named.

Well Red,

I read all of my P.M.'s ! And responded to them also !

And NO ONE can read any P.M. other than the one that sent it, and the one that it was sent too.

I have had my vocabulary changed or modified from time to time though, the computer performs that automatically to protect the innocent and the guilty !

By the way, I understand that Voldemort in not a very good air gun tuner !

The Mod's can only read PM's that are sent to them. Ed

Automatic filtering set up by admin. Whatever keywords or names can be stricken or replaced.

I've had the automatic protocols "scramble" some of the words I've tried to type in pm's.   I guess it's like a "fail safe" system.....

No, the Mods. and Admin. do not read anyone's PM's, other than those sent to them. Yes, the filtering software does automatically filter certain keywords on the site, regardless of what application within the site you are typing text in.

I know exactly what happened.  You were writing about Voldemort tuning a CHINESE rifle weren't you?  Well everyone knows the Chinese government censors everything!  Don't think they aren't reading this as I type it!  And you thought you had to worry about the US Government!  LOL
