It's been a couple of weeks for all the parts to get here so I could get the refurb of my Gamo remanufactured 220 underway. After a flurry of on line ordering the all important gold trigger arrived first followed by JM seal, spring and lubes, custom spring guide, BSA scope and mount. I also ordered a 440 stock from Gamo but I received one for a Hunter Elite, I hope in error. No response from them about the error. Nothing new there. I want that 440 stock I think it will really dress up the whole project. Anyway I tore the gun down did a good cleaning, de burred everything I could find that was rough and another clean then started the lube and reassembly. I found three good articles on how the lube process should go all were unfortunately for me a bit different so I went with what made the most since to me and it turned out great. Not a hint of dieseling just that nice solid thump without spring twang that we all crave. It's always fun, it's just over too soon. Now for a break in and then get some shooting in.

She looks good. Bet it shoots nice after all that work. Nice spring compressor. Anodized aluminum always looks cool.

Wow....great job. And that IS a very nice spring compressor....probably the best looking one on the GTA so far. I think Kiwi have one very similar....only his don`t have the GOLD BLING.

Cool...and your light cover is camo too!!

I don't know which I'm more impressed with, the compressor or the gun!! Great skills!

Big Atta Boy on a job well done. Your spring compressor makes mine look like an Ugly Duckling.

Good job, not on my part. It's a B-Square and I got it from Compasseco in I think 07. No longer made is what I hear.
