Obama has decided to send 1200 Guardsmen to the Arizona/Mexico border. My guestion.....is thier mission to protect the illegals from Arizona or to protect Arizona from the illegals? Not going to be of much use if they are used as a glorified Welcome Wagon committee.

After watching the news, Obama is just sending down a bunch of guy to sit behind desks and giving lip service and handling paper work and giving a little of some kind of training. Few if any will be actually re enforcing the border or even supporting the border guards. Nothing more than trying to give the impression that he is doing something when in all reality, all smoke and mirrors.

Just another meaningless gesture. 1200 hundred is just lip service, and what he sent is just a slap in the face for our problem.

As already noted, - nothing more than a "political gesture". BO knows full well the fall elections are getting closer everyday, and almost NOBODY (except him) wants things to stay as they are. ... Now, if he's truly interested in "change" here's a good place to start. - Sadly, don't hold your breath, these Guardsmen have NOT been sent there to "defend the border" - let alone actually hurt anyone.

Complete empty gesture. How can anyone see this as a true response to the hell boarder states experience? Kinda like throwing a sponge in the Gulf of Mexico right now.
