I have been trying now for 5 days to get the issue with the picture uploads resolved with the host. It seems I am spinning my wheels with them.
I NEED EVERYONE WHO IS EXPERIENCING PROBLEMSADDING PICTURES AND NOW PROBLEMS GETTING ON THE GTA TO POST IT HERE.
ANYDETAIL YOU EXPERIENCE WITH THESEISSUES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
I WILL TAKE SCREEN SHOTS OF WHAT YOU POST AND SEND IT TO THE HOST. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL SEE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM.

Had trouble logging in yesterday and this morning, and clicking on new threads, no error pages

Gene, I tried posting with pictures on one of the event forums (please delete by the way) and it gave me this error message after submitting the picture:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Invalid string or buffer length

Picture was 57kb in size, the body of the message got posted. Main forum also was very slow to load yesterday and this morning.

seldom even able to access site & when I did it would error in 1 or 2 passes to NO PAGE FOUND.

Been "difficult" to varing degrees using the forum for several days now.
When I heard others were having trouble posting pix I didn't even try.
Navigating around the site has been slow, to very slow, even to the point sometimes a page won't load at all.
And it's not just slow loading of pages, but also after pressing "Submit".
Half the time my replys wouldn't even post unless I right-click saved what I'd just written, logged off the site, cleared cookies, then logged back in, re-click "Reply", paste what I'd previously written and saved, re-click "Submit", then it would post my replys. Never had to do that before until the past several days.
Also noticed quite a few double and tripple posts by others lately. I've had that happen because after hitting the "Submit" button, it took so long that I though maybe I hadn't hit it right so hit it again, only to later find a double-post. I wonder if the higher number of double/tripple postsI've noticed lately may have also been because of the overly slow posting times ?
Yesterday, for about an hour, I could get into all the "Gates", but could only get as far as the warning page for the Hunting Gate. Repeted backing out and re-clicking would only get me as far as the warning page.
Later this morning (Saturday) I couldn't log onto the site at all for several hours.
And yes, the times shown have been off. Was 3 hours one way, until I would log in, then it showed my time-zone's correct time. Now, logged in, it's showing three hours ahead.

I tried to post pics yesterday and kept getting the same error message that preez got.
Today I was unable to log on to the GTA for about 5 hours, I even tried to use the link from CDT's site with no luck. I then tried to log on to Gene's tunez n toyz web site and was unsuccessful. snookman
P.S. The time stamp on this post is off by three hours, and tried to post pics again and keep getting the same error message.

Couldn't get on early today. IE, FireFox nor Safari would get access to the GTA site. Still get this error when attempying to post pics:

I've been having great difficulty accessing the site and when it does load it's extremely slow. I have been trying for days now to post some pics but keep getting the same "error message" the other members have been getting. Very frustrating......

Same here,i have a hard time getting connected to sight and sometimes not all all,you can tell by a few of my new post that i asked them to be deleted because of several attempts to download pix and i get same erra,

Site has been bouncing for the last 3 days. It's there, then page cannot display. As if the server is down. Attempting to post a picture using the "attach a file after posting" option also sends you to a dead page. Cannot display. I have been able, on and off, to use the "insert/edit image" option frmo the toolbar to add pictures to my posts. This has been sporadic for the past few day too.

I tried posting over on the Shop forum and each time when I went to post pictures it came back with screen that said "Server Not Available". I then made the mistake of going back and trying it again. So now there are 3 identical pictureless posts on the forum. Can you delete them for me? I'll try to post again once the problem as been fixed.
Also, I posted to patton123s question on .25 cal. I looked now and my post is no longer there???
Who is the host company and can we email them directly?

Yep have had probs....signing ons ok
but won't load forum pages and keeps
timeing out to error page...

I haven't had problems with the photo upload (haven't tried yet though) but I HAVE been having problems when I click the GTA logo and it sends me to the HPA-PCP-CO2 gate instead of the forums list. I've got that problem on 3 computers no matter if I clear history & cookies or not. It happens randomly.

Problems here also. Pages not loading and had some problems signing in. I haven’t try up-loading any pictures.

Was getting a screen that said "site closed for maintenance" this morning. Started at 8:30 AM and lasted a couple of hours (tried about 6 or 7 times) Finally got on at about 10:30 AM

Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error.
It works this is a 460 mag. 22 cal. hole on my pit that got in the way of my shot.

You like them standing erect for fireworks on Memorial Day..
I guess the only way so far to get pictures in is get it uploaded like IMAGESHACK and post the generated HTML link like I did.

It was abit slow Friday and Saturday but the speed is back to normal Sunday. Still can't upload photos though.

Its still not good for me today,long time getting on and sometimes just dropped off.

The problem I had was when ataching the photo I would Select the photo throug he brouser then hit post and it wold drop the web site after about 15 seconds. I would log on and try to edit the post withthe same results everytime.

Gene, Matt here... what I've been experiencing is the GTA site lot loading at all. Then when I do get in and click on any of the Gate links the pages don't seem to be loading and hitting refresh doesn't help either. I haven't loaded any pics per se but the forum as whole is loading intermittently not consistently.

I couldn't log on today from around 10 AM until 12:30 PM. It's been touch and go since - somtimes yes(like now) and sometimes no.

GTA website has been unavailable quite often the past few days. Pages do not load or take forever to load. Other websites work fine when this is happening.

As of Tuesday AM, I still get an error message when I attempt to post any size picture, even as small as 16K. Log on is slow and "iffy". I have to cancel and resend sometimes before the GTA will pop open. Not happening on other web sites.

I have been having the same problems as all the others, sometime on, other time no go !
I had a heck of a time doing the results for the match, but I persevered through, it just took some extre time :o

i am having a terrible time on here , when i finally do get on its only a few mins at a time and it stops . it is very discouraging. i am sure this is not good for this forum. thanks david

Yep. The GTA is showing its age. Sometimes early in the morning I can get it to come up quickly, but by evening time, it is either very slow or won't come up at all. I have a nagging thought that this reminds me of something else, but I just cant seem to remember stuff any more . . . sigh.

Have had a bunch of problems for almost a week, sometimes site won't load, or individual threads, also having no luck accessing older posts, from page 5 and higher.
