Shot a few groups - testing pic upload - size/quality.

pics a bit bigger than I expected.
Played with camera on mini tripod in front of trap.
Walked up and snapped a pic after each shot.
It was getting dark out, some not great, accidentally have stupid white box in them.
On the pool groupings I shot with different power levels - 4x-12x.

Very nice shooting,, you have to be happy with that :)

That bird weights too much to get off the ground now, ... nice shooting.
-
Proving, once again, that the old Shadow 1000 can hold its own with its German cousins. :D
-
Thanks all, I'm putting a one piece scope mount on, not that it will help me shoot better.
Also need to try different pellets - have them on order.
-
Those are pretty stinkin good groups. I do beleive that would be a dead crow.
-
Great shots with your Shadow 1000....that`s one dead Crow if it was alive.

I shot my self-tuned, Theoben-powered, .22 cal. Gamo CFX this weekend and my pellets grouped less than an inch at 35 yards. I picked off 2 starlings at 40 yards and another at 10 yards.

That's awesome. One of my new $54 Storm XT is shooting far tighter groups that the Shadow 1000. doh. :o
