You guys gave me some advice recently on the weight range for the tophats in my Gamo guns. I have one other question for you about those weights. I currently have a tophat in one of my guns with an E3650 spring that is appx. 1/2 the reccommended weight. I don't have a crony yet and am not sure of the velocity of the gun but it is so darn accurate that it would be a sin to alter anything I feel. Will the use of a tophat that is appx. 28 grams hurt the rifle over a period of time? I really like the gun and so does my wife she shoots it exclusivly when we get out in the backyard range togather and I don't want to damage it in any way. If anyone else has any experience with this please chip in. It just seems to be a great combination I have found for this gun and am reluctant to get off of a winning horse if I don't have to. Your thoughts and experience are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In my opinionm if it is shooting well and accurate and feels good and your are happy with it, then don't worry about it. It isn't really going to hurt anything.

Thanks for the info Bob, I think I'll leave her alone and just enjoy her for now until these is a problem. By the way I just got the mail and the GRT-III trigger came in today that I ordered Sunday night. Thanks again for everything you guys do for the sport.
