Well we shot it a lot at Johns place yesterday and managed a short 5 shot string in 3 different
pellet weights for comparison.

Thanks to John for all the math and stuffI did seem to struggle a bit to find the guns rhythm again yesterday and after John shot it
a bit he figured out that the stock screws were loose. After tightening them a bit things
did seem to come right. They weren't that loose so I'm not sure if it was just me or not.
The best group of the day was when shooting through the Chrony. All three the pellet weights
seemed to group just fine with no adjustment to aiming position. The heavy Kodiak's shot
the highest,about1" above where the FTS's and CPL'swere hitting, a bit weird since they are a
lot heavier.
John had issues cocking the gun. For some reason he managed to get it into a "half cocked"
position a few times, where it would not fire. A firm pull on the cocking lever fixed this problem.
It is a bit strange though. I guess when I figure the trigger out, I'll be able to prevent this from
happening again.
The bad stuff:
1. the cocking effort is fairly high, due to the short lever. A lube tune will / should make it a bit better.
2. The stock is FAT. Almost in the same league as the Gamo 1250. It'll need replacing ASAP.
It does shoulder very nicely though. (unlike the 1250)
3. The stock will need some "adjusting" the cut away where the cocking mechanism pulls
through, needs some meat taken off to widen the long slot.the cocking lever rubs against
it while cocking.
you can plainly see that more was taken off the "good side" than the one that rubs.
None of these issues are serious though and I still like the gun a lot.
