I ordered my first trigger last sunday, and amazingly it made its way all the way to Hawaii by thursday! It took me a while to install because I had a difficult time trying to take the e-clip off of one of the screws. Once I finally realized all I had to do was push it off everything started to go smoothly. Took me about 10 minutes after that to get everything completely back together. This was the absolute first time I've done any real modifications on an airgun. I was scared at first, but it was so much easier than I expected. The difference the trigger made is amazing. Just wow. Its so much more fun to shoot now. My trigger finger doesn't get tired like it used to and I can concentrate on keeping the crosshairs on target rather then pulling the trigger. I was a bit skeptical at first, but now I'm a believer. I wish it were cheaper, but for the difference it is worth it. I've put more than enough money into the s1k already but the trigger was the most important (besides the scope because I can't shoot for #%@# with open sites). I was shooting 1 hole groups from 12 yrds right off the bat. The bullseyes are 1" diameter. My current pellet of choice is the RWS superdome, but I'm expecting a pellet sampler tomorrow or saturday so that might change.
The shadow is in the middle, on top is my daisy 1000s which I'm salvaging for parts and below is my new crossman 1077 which I need to scope.

I know how you feel Josh,
The GRT-III is the best money that I have ever spent ! The difference is Night and Day. And as you say, the feel is so much better than that Gamo bent piece of steel.
Good luck, and keep us all informed on any future mods that you do.
Happy Holidays,
Bill

Josh, you can bet that Bob started the "order fulfillment" process as soon as he got your order and had it ready to go first thing Monday. He don't let no grass grow under his feet ;~D. As you've seen, it's a great product and well worth the price.
And don't send your Daisy 1000 to the junkyard just yet; between Mike (Splash)'s description and Russ Sauer's Daisy 1000X tuning guide, you should be able to get it back in shape in no time.
Good luck,
Bryan

Woohoo! I'm going to build a mini silent pellet trap to hold flash cards this afternoon, then set up a spot light outside so I can do some test shooting tonight. I'm too excited to wait 'till tomorrow!

Looking forward to your results.. :)

Wouldn't own a Gamo without the GRT-III.:) I've got 2 so far,1 for each of my Gamo's.I tried a cheaper alterantive to start with, but I won't make that mistake again.:0 Nothing beats the real deal.:)
