WE had 4 shooters show today on one beautiful day to shoot field target . The weather was perfect except for those swirling breezes that would show up at the wrong time. If you weren't shooting you love them , if you were you cussed them LOL . We started off the match with a 20 shot hunter course on our new hunter range . I shot my Discovery in it's first competition , Doug shot his FWB124 , and since Ken and Greg forgot to bring their hunter rifles they chose to shoot the whole match off-hand standing. It came down to the last target If I cleaned the last two shots (which happen to be the longer off hand shots) I would tie Doug with a 13 out of 20. I knocked down the first one, but pulled my last shot and ended with a 12 for second . We then went back to our vehicles and swapped rifles and we began what turned out to be an Air Arms match. Ken with his purple AA NGR100 , Greg with his AA EV2, Doug with his Pro Target , and me with my custom stocked AA Classic . After 48 possible shots , Ken came out on top with a score of 40 , followed by Doug with a 39 , Greg with a 38 and me with a 30 . The wind as always made it a fun day especially since 3 out of the four rifles were 12fpe guns. as I was missing the frog target on my last lane , Mick (Splash) and his wife Tiffany drove up . We spent a little while showing Mike some of the course and I let him try out my Classic and my Discovery . Then some of went for an Italian late lunch in town. A fun time for all. kirby

Looks like another fun event David. And the Italian lunch sounds great to me..:) Martin and I were talking about coming down to Covington and getting introduced to the Dark Side soon..:) I let him shoot my FX Cyclone with only 1400 psi left in tank on low setting and I think he fell in love with the PCP's...hehe  So did Mike, Tiffani and Gary shoot it as  well..:) Was glad that Mike and Tiffani made it down to your shooting event on there way home today. Looks like a great weekend for a bunch of addicted air gun shooters..:)

David, I'm sorry I messed up your last shot. It was nice to meet you and I should be able to come up for a match. Of course I'll have to be out of the car alittle longer before I try to shoot, hehe. Ya'll have a very nice set up there and I hope to be able to come back soon.
Mike

You didn't mess up my last shot I did . The ones I missed were the frog in the tree . I used the wrong mildot to aim with. The actual last two shots was a bat target out around 30 yards , and I nailed it both times. kirby
