Crosman-Benjamin Gate / Re: New benji Super Streak?

All new parts for sure. One really neat thing about Crosman islow costreplacement parts. Like a spring for $7, barrel for $15, etc. I talked to Kim at Crosman Friday and they had 2 SS barrels left in .22. It took me 2 months wait to get mine so if you are thinking about it, I'd advise calling her immediately!!!! (800)724-7486. Or email her at kyaddow@crosman.com

Someone shoot a couple into duct seal an recover them an we should have a answer on this?I'd think the seal would have as much resistance as critter's would? An all pellet's that I've recovered from wood where flattened out, heck some even just broke apart into fragment's.Maybe even use a med. thick cloth over seal for skin/fur?

Funny you should ask....

I just shot some test pellets into some duct seal yesterday to document my HW30S's preformance.  Since I have no access to a Crony, I devised a plan to use the duct seal and some pellets archived in tiny zip lock bags, to use as reference for future peace of mind.

5 shots of each pellet, into fresh duct seal areas, 30' indoor,  the numbers are average of the 5 and only symetrically deformed pellets were measured.
Each measured with a digital caliper.

Gamo Match Wadcutters      .215
RWS Hobby Wadcutters      .208
JSB Exact 8.4gr Domed        .197
Crosman Premier Hollow pt   .184

For the lower velocity of my HW30S,  the flat nosed wadcutters definately would open a larger wound track.
YMMV (Your Milage May Vary) with a more powerful airgun,  However, your Magnum's velocity may be may be closer to mine if you are shooting longer distances.

Hope this is helpful for my first post here.
Thank-You all for the wonderful education in air guns I have been getting from reading this and other forums.

Do to the fact that they are here illegally, they only deserve to be sent back home, or put in prison !

BO's people have a funny way of looking at almost any subject ! Soon these illegal aliens will be considered tourists seeing America !

But that still does notgive them the rights of U.S. citizens, they must become naturalized citizens by legal means.

Well i know im not the only one that has a name for his airrifles lol 8) well reading some of the resent kills on the hunting gate and two from Ed  using my old browning 800 mag got me motivated i had the day off to go see the laker parade but opted to do some yard work instead decided its a hot day out so ,let me go play with (ultra violet) my custom 2250 xt blessed by roy weid and mr shadow .So i sighted her in slapped a 88 gram co2 bottle and got the cphp .22 for her  boy she has some  power i guess roy did his magic i dont have a chrony but im sure she is pushing at least 700 fps with  14.3 grainers so i got some lemonaid came back out and i see a dove flying around in the backyard and took off i must of waited for 15 mins and the dove came back and landed on a tree approx 17-19 yrds out. I couldnt see the dove blended in nicely but luckily i had my binoculars on stanby quietly loaded a  cphp .22 scoped her in and shot all u heard was a big thud! the dove dropped in a pile of some broken up concrete slabs in the back yard so i fished her out and took some pics with my cam phone man this bird had a big hole in the neck area the cphp took some flesh off, this bird was dead on impact lol i send the pics to ED so he can post them for me so be patient  folks  :emoticon:

no prob and i do have more than one. i sold all 8 last xmas and about a month later i started buying again. this hobby is sure addictive. now i have the b40,rws 34p,crosman nightstalker, benji AS392 and just picked up a b26-2 for 100 shipped. so the numbers are climbing again. lol. and i would have no prob with owning an rs2 if it was a good shooter but the past experience left a very bad taste in my mouth about them. keep your eye on the yellow classifides and something better will come your way.

Excellent job and welcome to the addicting world of airgunning.

And great that both barrels are so close without tweaking the scope. You got yourself a winner!!!!

Happy Shooting!!!!

Awesome buddy!

I used to love the air shows when I was in the military stationed down in San Diego.  When you say San Carlos do you mean the city that is sandwiched between San Mateo/Belmont and Redwood City?   If so I grew up in San Mateo and actually did a check ride out of San Carlos airport once when I was in A&P school.  I know they used to get the Blue Angels to do shows out at Moffet Field in....Santa Clara?  Last air show I went to out here in Texas the noise from the jets scared my little one so bad we had to leave....yes, I admit it, I was a little bummed out:(  Best airshow I have EVER been to was just a few months after Operation Desert Storm in 91'.  It was aboard ship!  Is that an SH60 you're leaning against?  Man, that sure brings back memories....I admit, I'm a little jealous:)
