Good shooting Ed!  Your CFX looks high tech with all that "stuff" on it :)   So you shot off hand?  That's great shot placement!  Lets us know what he tastes.

Thanks Harry, double lamp's make sure I light em up good and the laser is a guide for the pellet hehe. Ed

Btw, how's the weight and balance of the rifle with all those gadgets on top?

The balance is great, I took some time and setup the lamp's in different local's and found that closer to the back of the shooter worked for me. I didn't want all the weight to be out on the end. Weight, she's alittle heavy but I'm used to heavy shooter's, 1250.22 Royal etc. hehehe. But I wanted to set her up for a night ambush shooter since it's better to stay put and wait for them then it is to tromp around and wake up the forest, the night varments have killer night vision. Know what you mean.....every little step causes noise that resonate throughout the woods....especiallly there's less noise at night.  Still hunting is the way to go at night.

I always enjoy reading your stories buddy. Nice rat you took! I see them around mom and dads often. I would like to take one of those radiers but can not dispose of it properly so I haven't done it. Keep them coming.

Thanks Jason and the Gentleman that was doing pest control for  told me to come back anytime cause we know that there's more night critter's out there. I will be back there tonight, let's see what lurks in the shadows other then me hehehe. Ed

Shadow, is that a mag light on your shooter? I put one on a pistol one day for kicks just to see how it looked. If it is, does it have a push button switch, or do you turn the end?

Yes Vinny it's a mag light on one side and a moonbeam light on the other. I modified the maglight with a push button system. Ed

Nice.Looks pretty cool.Is the moonbeam a flood light and the Mag a spot light? Is moonbeam a model? Dont mean to be ignorant, I just like your set up.

The mag is like a small floodlight but the moonbeam is cool, it put's out a perfect circle of light with a soft blue light. I can't remember were I got it but after trying it out at night I new that I had to mount it. Ed
