Daystate delivery problem.
« on: October 26, 2006, 09:31:20 PM »

.

Here is an excerpted copy of an e-mail from Tony Belas, the sales manager of Daystate.

Hi Ed,
Thank you for your email. Firstly sorry for all the trouble we have caused, and thanks for your patience.
.
The entire AofA shipment has been delayed by a lack of wooden stocks from our supplier. We received the final supplies yesterday and the box gets collected shipped by air on Monday, though they are going to try for tomorrow. It takes 3 days to arrive at Phoenix and then a few more to clear US customs.
.
Just so you know how ridiculous the world is (in case you do not know already) a key member of staff at the stock maker Custom Stock, namely the Managing Director, twisted his ankle in the car park and had to be rushed off to hospital. He was off three weeks and because of this vital wood orders were not placed. This has caused a huge backlog of orders for us,and just about every other UK manufacturer that uses them....
.
The only up side to this is like santa's list (well it is nearly christmas) everything has been checked twice!
.
Please feel free to show this letter to your friend as proof that you really have ordered a Daystate. :)

Regards

Tony

.....You heard it here first :)

Sounds like those guys you are dealing with are good old boys. But you know *_*_*_*_*_* runs down hill and you are at the bottom..:)

May I make a suggestion...  Buy another PCP that they have in stock to play with while you are waiting for you Daystate..:)

Just a suggestion.

With  your money I could retire twice... he he he he

I'm seriously thinking about getting a tricked-out Condor.

Always good to have 2 guns [or more!], you'll always have one when the other is out of service.

There's one problem with this, and her name is Krystyna. :) :) :)

Got the CarbonFiber tank kit from AirHog, and I had a marred DIN adapter.

Called them up, and Steve said to send it in for another.

I forked over the extra $7.00 for a 3' from the 1' microbore hose as an upgrade.

Just came in the mail, and it's perfect...

Now for the gun.

Called tonite, and the shipment, which is now in Phoenix, has not arrived.

Still told it's a custom's thing.

I hope I get my gun by Thanksgiving, the kids are coming, and I want to wow them with it.

 :)
