There was a guy on the Crosman forum sometime last year who had great results with the Lobo's

He had a very custom 2260 w/ a 2240 or 50 grip frame on bulk fill w/ a Steve Corcoran stock and many other custom doo-dads.

His gun was shooting those at around 860 fps I think and he was consistently getting rabbits out to 70 yards or so.

Well I guess neither place has them in stock.

But...I did put an order in at PA for the Gamo RB's w/ estimated in stock date of 11-28-08 we'll see what happens.

Looks like I'll be the test gunny (dummy) for these, will report my findings as to which gun of mine likes em' and how well they group or not.

I'm gonna venture a guess they may work well w/ my Disco and Chinese Beeman SS1000.

I use the .177 Gamo lead balls in my MP514K with the 10 shot BB magazine. It gives me 2 shots more than the pellet cylinder and they have more energy/penetration than steel BBs and won't eat up my rifling.
You can get them from http://www.midwayusa.com, in the form of lead shot. BPI Super Buck Lead Shot F is size .220" dia. It's $42.99 plus shipping for an 8 POUND jar. Currently out of stock, backorder OK.

Looks like PA got the .22 Gamo RB's in stock today, lets see if they'll ship today.
