A thread a while back someone was talking about making spring targets out of old springs.Wish I could remember I would thank them for the idea. Anyway I had some laying around from my B3 TUNEUP and went to work. I mounted the spring on a 1ft square peice of steel ,drilled hole through center ,ran a 4in. bolt up through it and tack welded it. Slid spring down onto bolt, fits snug and I wanted to be able to remove the spring if I wanted to mount different targets on top.On the top of the spring I mounted a small C-clamp,small tack weld and presto. For my targets I had some light aluminum laying around, drawing out some targets, rabbits, tree rats etc.Cut em out with a jig saw and clamped them on. I tested the metel FIRST at different yrds. ten to forty to make sure my rounds passed through it. That way I was'nt taking freandly fire.WORKS great.! No one lives out back here, miles of farming country so I let them fly. But always be aware of what or who's around you.Sometimes when looking through a scope at a target some don't look past it. If you miss,(GOD FORBID) where is that round gonna go. So start making your springy targets and if you come up with a idea post it, always happy to something different. And thanks again to the member who posted a thread that got my gears a- turning. Please give a shout out. ED
