disco 22'cal and round ball
« on: January 15, 2009, 11:29:10 AM »
just wondering if any one has tried using round balls in their disco   the CPHP's are dead accurate out to 60+ yards in mine but i was toying with the idea of trying led balls

any and all info would be great    thanks

I haven't yet because my disco is still waiting on parts, but my 2240 seems to be doing real well so far with the round ball ammo in .22.
The groups are real tight so far. As in hole in hole accurate.
.22 Discovery 4x16x40 Centerpoint
.22 Beeman SS1000 4x16x56 Centerpoint
.22 2250XT 6x32 Centerpoint
.22 Custom 2240 Tasco Red-Dot w/bling

And various other pistols too

Do you feel they`re more accurate than the regular pellets for long or short distance shooting?  And how`s the penetration?  I might get some .177`s to  test, out in my springers if the verdict is good.
