Christmas mornin hunt
« on: December 24, 2006, 09:21:07 PM »
I awoke this morning at about 3:00 am to put some extra gifts under the tree for the little lady, he he he. My first stop though was the laundry room in the back of my house where I have window facing endless farming fields. I've installed a small pop up door on the bottom half of the window to keep from spooking the critters, they know the sound of my windows being opened, I wonder why he he he . Anyway I'm gazing out, eyes hardly opened with a cup of coffee in one hand and a gift for the little lady in the other when I spotted something. There about 15yrd underneath my stump birdfeeder sat a rabbit, not one but two.!  I couldnt believe it as I dropped my coffee and  gift off and exchanged them for my shadow sport. I crept back to my laundry room and seated myself infront of my pop up door, they were still there munching on fallen birdseed. I took my time, placed my crosshairs on my target and RELEASED my finger off the trigger. Not today guys, it's Christmas Day and I know, two rabbits but on this day they got a repreave. Enjoy your Christmas meal bunnies for tomorrows a different story. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. Ed
