Comparing MM tuned B26 to stock CFX

I've got a CFX that I like but I've been reading about the MM tuned B26 (sporter not thumbhole) and am wondering how it compares to the CFX (stock).

I'm looking at: 1) trigger, 2) cocking effort, 3) noise level, 4) weight. The accuracy seems comparable from what I've read here.

I'm finding myself getting tired after a couple of hours of shooting the CFX and it's not easy for me to hold offhand because of the weight (w/scope).
 
I'm also shooting in my backyard so I'd like it to be as quiet as possible.

The final question is whether I would be better off with a MM B26 for target shooting under 40 yards. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I just like break barrel air guns personal choice only...  so I would choose the a tuned B26 in .22 for under 40yds , Less effort to cock... I believe its a copy of the R7 beeman! The cfx is a great gun also and everyone sayes it is very accurate which is  really what its  all about !! The cocking effort  may be alittle more but not bad, some like the lever, The cfx will need a grt III trigger in my opinion ..I think cfx comes in a .177 cal.  anyway not sure i helped much but thats my "2 cents" for what its worth, It would be nice if you could have both and not be killed LOL, Tony.

The B-26 is a clone of the Beeman R-9.  The B-26 is a really nice rifle, not that heavy, comfortable to hold, mild cocking effort and a super trigger.  If you get a tuned one from Mike it's even better.  I'm not knocking the CFX... I have 2 of em, one in .177 and one in .22 and they are super accurate shooters,,, but I think you'll find the B-26 easier to shoot and much more comfortable and if Mike tunes it it'll come out like a dream.....

Then what you do is let some time pass, be really nice to the Mrs and then start easing her into the fact that you're gonna buy a CFX :)

I had both .177 and .22 in B-26 from Mike. I sold the .177 only because I never shot it and wanted some new bow equipment. The .22 is ultra quiet and you should get around 650-680fps with 14 gr pellets. mine is very smooth and moderately light weight scoped. I don't think you would be unhappy.

Yep,
I concur with Jason and Jeff.
I have 2 MM tuned B26, 1 in each caliber.
I've had the .22 for about 2 years and it is both smooth and quiet and still stock.
The B26 is an R9 clone.

Just got my MM-B26 in .22 and it's smooth to cock and very light
could cary all day with ease. Great rifle for the money.
