« on: February 25, 2009, 06:29:05 PM »
Finaly got the new fill probe adapter finished. Great can fill the
new AR6 and take out for a spin. But the valve won't seat the
argon just comes out the barrel... hit it with a hammer/though it agaist the wall/
run over it with the car but it just kept leaking.
Quess I will have to pull it down replace a few O rings & free things up.
It has been sitting in the shop for a few years .. O well DAM

Never had a PCP apart before any tricks , Dos & don'ts ????????

Most PCP's when filling an empty airtube, you have to cock the rifle to fill . try this and see if it works . air pressure inside the tube will keep the valve closed when it has pressure in it. kirby

Just had to clean the vavle out...
had some sort of grease/lube in
it that had gone hard on the valve shaft
from sitting around for so meany years.
stoped the vavle spring closeing the
valve to let the first fill happen.
Just degrease and relube.
All good now.
