Just a little poem I wrote.

How doth Barack Obama all victims organize
and with tele-prompted polish, spread Socialist's tired lies!
How freely he spends other’s wealth
to right the social score,
until our nation's bankrupt and freedom is no more.

How Barney, Chris and Nancy do torture enterprise,
and kill our nation’s commerce, bring “tax and spend” demise!
But oh, what lofty purpose,
What noble Social goal:
To redistribute all the wealth, and spread the pauper’s dole.

And oh the fruits we shall reap, oh what utopia,
when the State cares for her sheep. A cornucopia!
Free homes, free food, free medicine.
Surrender all your care!
Await the Siren's promises . . . of tyranny's despair.

No, in the "New Socialism", you just keep borrowing from future generations or keep printing money, or both.  What matter that America's debts now almost exceed her GNP, and that is if the current projections hold (LOL).

We voted in Obama, now our nation is through.

It's not iambic pentameter,
and lacks roses, violets, too,
But th' verse's simple message
Still comes quite clearly through:
Obama's now in office,
and everyone is screwed!

LOL!  You are doing fine, Paul.  Heck, I don't even know if remember what iambic pentameter means either.  Something about 5 lines or syllables to the measure.  But it sounds poetic, don't it!

da DUM da DUM da DUM da DUM da DUM  is the "meter" of iambic pentameter"
