CZ SLAVIA 631 tune
« on: February 09, 2009, 01:45:50 PM »
I own a CZ slavia 631 lux >177cal. and have some isues. I do not own a cronograph but I do belive that the gun should be able to punch a hole in a cambels soup can with a pointed deablo,crossman,bemann pellet. nothing works. The gun is seriously lacking in balls. I an cock it with minimal effort and the seal is in mint condition. It is a fairly new gun with only 200 or so sots through it. I know it takes some tme to break in a new gun but. It is a weak spring I am comfedent of it.
IS THERE A WEB SITE WHARE I CAN GET A BETTER THAN NEW SPRING?
I can not find any sites selling springs or even other parts for a CZ slavia 631,other than CZ and their springs are.... :0

The CZ 631 is not meant to punch holes in tin cans..:) It can be and extremely accurate paper puncher. The CZ 631 .177 shoots in the low 600 fps range. If you want a tin can destroyer then buy something like a B-26 .177 or Gamo .177. They shoot in the 900 fps range. There is nothing wrong with your CZ and it would make a great 10 meter shooter.
THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

I've got a Gamo Whisper Deluxe .177 with CDT Turbotune (Maccari spring, new trigger mechanism). It has a nice BSA scope mounted, and it is well over 1,000 FPS.

This rifle will pop a can in the air.

I might consider a trade of some type, do you want to exchange photos?

My CZ slavia 631 in its current state.
 Pic 249 shows the small dent in the beach wood stock. ( it will most likely steam out with a clothes iron and a towel.)
Pic 250 shows the minimal wear to the blueing on the side of the barrel block where it rubs against the receiver.( very new gun)
{things you can't see}
polished trigger and sear mating surfaces. polished trigger(where it rubs against the tension adjustment spring}, polished piston,electrical tape installed on bottom of receiver to prevent cocking lever from removing blueing, new stainless steel 6-32 trigger adjustment screw, epoxy bedded stock/ receiver mounting surfaces. Bore is in excellent to mint condition and has NEVER seen a steel dart .gun has been fired 200 or so times and has been very well maintained with proper storage techniques.
