swivle and sling

i would like to put a sling on my 1377,2240 any help would be nice . one of the guys on the forum said to drill the stock but forgripe is stoping me not should how to do it there any help thank george old troutchaser

Someone used to make a pistol sling that was pretty slick.  You looped it around your neck and it allowed you to hold the gun out with a steady two-handed grip.  It's illustrated in one of my old books.  If I can find it, I will try to scan the picture.  Should be fairly easy to copy.  Believe it was originally designed for a Contender.
