Logun MKII @ 100M
« on: May 19, 2009, 04:19:50 PM »
Sunday I got to go to the range and I decided since it was near perfect weather I would try the Logun MKII at 100 meters. Well, I fired these 2 groups and then I checked the on board pressure gauge. Well it was getting into the yellow range so I figured I’d top off with the old Hill pump and shoot some more.  So the fill adapter attached to the end of the hose is for my AA 410 ERB, the Logun’s was sitting back at home, 17 miles away.  Target #1 (the left one) you see 4 shots of the 5. The 5th shot is 2 inches low and left at the 5 o’clock position. I’ll take the blame for that one.  Target 2 has what appear to be two separate groups. No doubt caused by not having a consistent sight picture.  These were shot with JSB Exacts, dry, unsorted and straight from the tin. This just reinforced that when Harry Fuller et al post those very small long range groups, it’s really something. These guns, even high end ones don’t shoot themselves. Sorry if the scan isn’t the best.
Regards

Nathan

That's still excellent 100 meter shooting.....although not "one holers"....but still very very good.  Me and quite a few other airgunners I would believe, would probably get shot-gun patterns if shooting at those distances.
