With plenty of guidence from "Papa Bear",, Im just gettin ready to put her back together!!My new G-1 Gene gave me is shootin SAWEET!!!! I did the whole tune myself!! I worked the metal lathe & all!!I only had to come in to ask Gene no more that 47 questions!! She came out real nice,, shootin low 900,s smooth as silk!!I kept commin in to let Gene inspect my work with such pride,, Gene would put on his glasses & catch "burrs" I had missed & send me back out to the shop,,I kept after it untill all my work was approved!!Well,, after another 24 trips in for "Lube Aplication" aprovall,,, I put her back together!! I sure harassed the heck outa my Buddy today,,, thats ok though,,, the Doc. says Gene needs to stay active!!I sure ended up with a SAWEET shooter!! (Just for the record,,Gene watched my cross hatchin job from the back porch,,,, I passed!!) I did it all myself,,,, well,,, Gene did put on the new seal for me!!LOL!! I think I will leave the tunnin up to my Bestest Buddys Gene & Mr Bob,, thats ALOT of work!! Thanks Gene for all you tought me today & on my last visit Buddy,,, you know all dem secrets are safe with me!!Love Ya Buddy!! Timbo.

Them Crosman G1 Extreme sure is a sweet shooter. Her favorite diet is 10.5 gr CPHP & Benjamin Ultra Magnum. I took off the heavy muzzle brake and installed my Qtip Brake.

My only problem with using my lathe is that I start turning things at 6:00 PM Saturday, then look up and it's suddenly 3:00 AM Sunday. Time flies when you're machining. I find lathe work to be addictive and very relaxing. Go figure.

Yep Timmy was biting at the bit all week to tune his G-1..:) Nothing I could do to stop him. He would chain me up on the back deck of the house while he was doing his tuning.

Ya, there was nothing I could do but answer his questions....:) And when he was all done the G-1 was shooting fantastic. Now all he needs is a scope. But he was shooting ten cans out at 30 yards or so with no sights at all. Poppin them one right after another.. Way to Go Timmy....... :) Job well done...
