Answers to a typical question.

Shopping for a tank and fittings?

Different fill probes have thread sizes specific to the maker. The Airhog tanks and SCBA are designed for 4500psi, since DAQ's and the Gargoyle use huge quantities of air. http://www.airhog.com/tanks_and_acc.htm

Also have DIN fittings and other parts for 3300psi SCUBA tanks, because so many people use them, but for weight and convenience I prefer the Airhog tanks with the carry handle. http://www.airhog.com/fittings.htm

When you know what the probe thread patterns are, some can be modified, or in the case of some Korean setups - replaced. http://www.bgmfairguns.com/otherproducts.html

Sometimes Mac1 will have tank deals, and it is usually easiest to call them on the phone. http://www.mac1airgun.com/

An 88cf 4500psi tank will give a lot more fills. http://www.airhog.com/tank.htm

The problem is who will fill to 4500psi, unless you have a commercial account with a welding gas supplier.

That was why I got the compressor, because nobody would fill locally for me. The welding gas place I have an account with is over in West Columbia {about 50 miles from here} and the tank lease for oxygen, acetylene, and co2 is about $200/year, but a 6000psi air tank would be almost that much, every month!
