New toy. Can killer

I picked up the 'Add a gun for$10.00" deal on this little Westlake pistol. As advertised a second one came with it. Also a cleaning kit and two plastic tins of pellets. I back burnered them for about a week after shooting them to make sure they would spit pellets, further than the smoke.

So today I yanked one apart and did a little cleaning and smoothing and relubing.Nothing special to the trigger surfaces other than a quick polish. This one was the hardest to cock and the trigger was the worse of the two as well.

It is still hard to cock but at least it doesn't sound like a box of rocks. The trigger is still very stiff but I got the screech screech jerky out of it as well. It's  a LOT smoother when you shoot it now.

So what to do??? Kill cans!! I killed this one at 5yrds and kept hitting it out to 9 yrds before I missed. Don't know what pellets it likes and it will be hard to find out with the brutal trigger pull, so I just used CPL's.

i love can killers... i got a p17 against all naysayers, and cleaned ,relubed and tightened, it kills cans to the order of 440 fps with 7.0 gr basics. it has a good trigger to so i have been able to off an entire battalion of "armymen in a bag" from upto 12 yards... they are really camouflaged at that distance.lol.
