I didn't catch anything big , actually everything was under 12" . But I would have liked to have shown you the colors on some of the ones I did catch and realeased . My friend Eddie and I got up early yesterday (3:30am for me) and went fishing to one of our summer favorites ; the Ocmulgee river in middle Georgia . I took one of my ultralight outfits spooled with 4# Ande and a 7 1/2 foot flyrod . Most of my fishing was done with the ultralight and a small two inch long swimming minnow hardbait . With the flyrod I used a foam spider w/ rubber leggs that I tied . I caught about a dozen shoal bass between 6-11" ; what they lack in size they make up for in fight , sort of like a smallmouth . The "bream" that I caught were the beautiful rebreast , bluegill , and another species of sunfish that are primarily yellow with light blue spots , very tropical looking . The largest being about the size of my hand . We probably stayed a couple of hours too long as I got a little red , even with sunscreen . I got home around 5:30 dead tired ; took a shower , ate supper and sometime after 9pm dozed off trying to watch TV .It was a fun time , I'm ready to go back . We're talking about a float trip in a float tube next time . kirby
