Biathlon Trainer.

Hi guys, happy 4th July. Now then, I'm wondering if any of you have come across these guns before? If so, anybody stripped one down? Was it easy or were there any problems?

That looks like an old Marksman I once had. Not very powerful but fun to kill cans with.

....that's exactly what it is, and as stated, not very powerful, but you know what? For a trainer it is pretty darned accurate, the trigger pull is questionable but not intolerable....I've had mine since the early '80's I guess, I taught all three of my sons to shoot on it (and it's still in almost mint condition....still shoots well)

Caution if you are in the states, parts are not easy to come by, spent better than a month looking for some awhile back....

Yes, but are they easy to strip? There is a lady here in the UK who is the range warden of a junior's rifle club, and she's looking for someone to service several of them with a basic lube tune.

yes very easy to work on. Simple mechanics....
