Talon SS Shroud
« on: August 18, 2009, 05:27:13 AM »
Price...$85.00   Paid $95.00    New he sold these for $150.00
After 3 weeks of denying he had it, he sent it back. Good job buddy!! It is a DonG shroud. Only 2 1/4 inches added to the Talon shroud. It works VERY good.  The advantage of this one is the short length, which I love.

You guys may want to be careful who you deal with in the future.
DonG has ripped of many people for thousands of dollars.

You need to read ALL the way through it. These people NEVER got their money or guns or parts back

I am just glad I only bought a $20 breach knob from Don G. when he was starting out machinging parts & selling them on the TAG, so I got my part back in '08 when he was fullfilling orders regularly and was good then.
I feel sorry for all the other people.  I know how that feels having lost a gun and $ to a scammer.  Maybe something happened to him like life threatening?

We 've come up sayings on the TAG like:  Don't get "dong'ed" or.. "he pulled a DONG", hehe.  He wasn't the first one, and won't be the last.  Hey maybe the seller of this Don G. shroud is really Don G. in disguise?   :p  8)

For 1 don't hijack my thread Harry. You are a veteran here you should know better.
For 2 don't go throwing stupid accusations around. If you look back at my posts you will see I
just bought this from Joe/cuz and was mistreated by him on the transaction.
I am really starting to wonder about the guys here????

There was absolutely no malicious intent by my post Matthew, and the 2 smiley faces after my comment strongly implies that.  Most of the people here are very nice and down to earth.  We treat everyone with respect (unlike other forums) and expect the same in return.  Once in a while we 'll throw some jokes around that are usually innocent in nature.  We all get along and have fun sharing information relating to our airgun addiction and always try to help each other.

Sorry to hear you had a "bad" experience buying this shroud from Joe Cuz.  I have not had any transactions with Joe but he is well liked here.  Sometimes stuff happens.. End result you didn't get scammed which is very likely these days with the recession we have going and people being in need of $.

Good luck with the shroud.  May I suggest the TAG and the Yellow Classifieds.  You will get a much bigger PCP audience on those (if you have BOI feedback for Yellow).

A thanks to Harry for the reply and a PM. Good to know he meant no ill will.
Just finalized a trade with waynejitsu. A good guy from my dealings with him and
from what I have seen on other Forums.

Glad it all worked out for the both of you Don..  eehh I mean Matthew!  hehehe.  Just kidding!  8)

Just curious, why the nickname "ill-will"?  Why not goodwill? or "no illwill", or some name that inspires people to buy from you :)

Actually I think someone has Goodwill and Matthew already.  I can see it being hard to pick the right names.  The GTA is getting very popular.  I know Gene is Bob are busy counting the membership $ rolling in..  hehehe.
