I'm not sure what an Airsporter is but I've got 2 BSA's:

*BSA SuperSport .177 with new seals, a David Slade trigger tune and Theoben gas ram conversion

*BSA Lightning XL .22 with new seals, a David Slade trigger job and Theoben gas ram conversion.

The Lightning XL is immaculate!  Flawless wood & metal and shoots smoother than other gas rammed BSA's I'v felt.

The Super Sport has a couple small dings...  one in the metal near the breech and due to one of the barrel pins constantly moving outward and damaged the wood I put in a small screw to stop its movement and covered the small debit with a piece of electrical tape that at fist glance you would think it came that way!  The pin no-longer moves and the gun shoots flawlessly at 802-810 with 8.8 grain Beeman FTS.

I won't part with the Lightning XL but if you want the SuperSport I'll do it for $400 shipped due to the cosmetics.  Both guns are sweet beyond belief!  At the last NTAGM(North Texas Airgun Militia) shoot I had multiple offers on the Super Sport one of which was $600 even despite the cosmetics.  It's that sweet!

Lemme know your thoughts!

Matt

The scope is a Bushnell 3-9X40 Banner and the mount is a BKL #460 and simply does not move!  If you want the scope and mount included I'll do the whole thing for $450 which is what I paid for it.  The BSA springers are no-longer made in the UK and this one's made in Birmingham!  The muzzlebrake still hasn't moved and is one of MuzzleMack's jobs.  It's a beautiful gun!

Date back to the late 40's with six or seven variations from what I hear.  The Stutzens I believe are a variant.  The Supersport is a great gun but right now I am looking for something a little older :)

No problem!  If I weren't hurting for $$$ right now I wouldn't remotely consider selling it!  Thanks for getting back to me!

On another note are you going to be able to make my next shoot?
