Ruger AirHawk Refurb from Cabellas
« on: August 31, 2009, 08:41:24 AM »
Okay so I bought one.  Here is the problem, I can't get the iron sights to crank far enough to the right.  I was going to shoot it without a scope for awhile, but I can't get the sights to move that far.  The gun is shooting at least 4" to the left at 10 yards.

I'm not even sure what I should do?

I put the scope on it and shot for a little bit, but I was really wanting to shoot it without the scope for a 1000 pells or so.

Looking down at the breech lock up position,...how does the breech block and the forks appear?!? You may want to snug the pivot bolt up a bit more. An easy way to do this is to hold the rifle in up at the sky,...and check for the clearances between each side of the breech block,...at least that's how I've done it in the past. You could also try the old pro method and "pop" the barrel over!!!! With fiber optics,...it's a shame you can't shift a front sight appeture (globe styled sight) over some like on your 350. But from looking at the rifle on the PA web-sight,..it looks to be the same quality as a typical Crosman Quest varient,....LAME!!! LOL's tjk
