Well... I built it, but is isn't mine...
A friend of mine asked me to reseal his Crosman 1377 and add a Crosman carbine stock for a bit more stability. WELL.... What he WANTED me to do and what I DID are two different things.
I envisioned a nice little "Tacticool" Carbine and got to work. First thing I ordered was an AR15 style collapsible stock for a Tippman paintball gun. I wanted a MuzzleMack stock adapter, but he's out of stock, so I got a piece of aluminum rod and turned it down to accept the stock and act as the rear action tube plug. Well, since the lathe was warm I couldn't stop there. I recrowned a new 24 inch barrel then I machined a new steel piston just slightly longer than the factory plastic one. That's enough for day 1.
Day 2, I tore the gun down and opened up the valve. I found a bit of junk in the check valve. Cleaned that out, ported the valve body, tapered and smoothed the exhaust valve, and installed a lighter (ALOT Lighter) check valve spring. Back in the gun she goes.......
Bed linered the pump arm and grips using Bulldog adhesion promoter as a basecoat. When they were dry, I shot them, the RJ Machine Breech and the rear section of the stock in Krylon OD Green. Time to go to bed.........
Next day, polished the hammer and all the slots in the main tube until they were slicker than Eel Snot. Then the assembly started. Installed all the parts along with a new Crosman 2100 hammer spring........ And I ended up with this:
