A friend of mine has a collection of over 300 Surf, Mooching and Boat rods and handed me an armful to see what he can get for them. They're ALL BRAND NEW. Never used.
Most are Pelagic, a couple Okuma Solaris, one Clear Blue Tackle and a couple Quantum, Tica and probably others.
Most are 10 foot+ feet. Some of the boat and mooching rods are between 6 and 8 feet, except for an Okuma 10'6" mooching rod.
Some IM6 rods, some E-Glass and a couple just labled as graphite.
Here's an example of what he's got to offer:
Okuma Solaris, 12 foot rod, IM6 blank, Fuji double foot guides, stainless steel hooded graphite reel seat, medium heavy power, fast action, line weight 20-40 Lbs, 2-6oz lure/sinker weight.
If anyone's interested, I can post pictures and specs. I'll ask him what he's looking to get outright for each. I know it won't be much. He's like me, an avid striped bass fisherman that wants to "Spread the love" so he says hehe.
