5 shot group with my new Disco!!!!!!
« on: October 14, 2009, 07:46:03 AM »
I got it Tuesday evening and just got the scope mounted on it today (Wed).
It took about 7 shots to dial the scope in.
I was gonna go with a 50mm at first, but the mounts didn't work.
Then I thought about a 40mm, but it overpowered the look of the disco.
So I ended up going with a CenterPoint 3-9x32 with mil-dot recticle.
This group was off the bench at 40 yds.
It ended up right at 1/2 inch outside to outside.
I was a tad bit excited about owning my own disco, so I was a wee bit jumpy maybe.
I'm sure more practice with it will yield better results.
Now where are all the squirrels hiding????
Thanks Ray

Excellent shooting.
.5 inch minus the pellet diameter, either .177 or .22, still puts the CTC measurement of the group under .4 inch, which means your Disco is shooting minute of angle.  Pretty good for an air rifle at 40 yards, bucko.
