Last try, FS or T Hammerli Pneuma .177
« on: October 30, 2009, 11:32:14 AM »
Gonna give this one more weekend, and if it's still not getting any interest, it goes back in the rack.

Unless you buy two rifles, you can't get a Pneuma like this in the States. It has the wooden stock from the Halestorm rifle, makes it a much nicer piece IMO. I've also done some fairly extensive detailing of the internal workings as well as some performance modifications to the single stage (NOT 2 stage) trigger. And finally, I was able to fix one last, irritating air leak. This work has resulted in a very slick, smooth operating and shooting PCP, with a very easy cocking side lever action.

I believe people have shied away from this rifle because it's a Turkish rifle built by Hatsan. Trust me, they may build some lousy springers, but their PCP's are decent rifles. I'd say comparable to the BAM B50/51's but with more power and a better cocking system.

Haven't chronied it lately, but it was shooting at or above 20 fpe with CP and JSB Heavies, 1/4-3/8" groups at 20+ yards off the bench is no problem. It's a fairly heavy rifle, but nicely balanced with the wooden stock. The synthetic was pretty muzzle heavy IMO. Stock is equipped with an adjustable for height butt pad.

Included with the rifle is a fill probe, degassing tool, and a second barrel band. I'm also adding a very effective LDC, a like new Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32 AO scope and rings. Rifle will ship in it's original box with it's original documentation, as sell as a box and docs for the scope.

Asking price is $550 shipped, prefer payment via PayPal, I'll pick up the fees, or will accept USPS money order. Or will trade for a BSA Sportsman HV .22 or comparable. Questions here, offers via email. Thanks for looking.

Made the mistake of shooting it some this weekend and have decided I really need to hang onto this for awhile yet ;-)!  Later.
