Beeman Rs2 dual caliber..

I love this gun, and already got about a dozen squirrels with it. It's very accurate after about 800 shots through it. Both calibers shoot great. My only compaint is the safety. It rarely will turn off. I have to squeeze through the first stage, while holding the safety off. Then i can shoot. Does anyone know how i could fix the safety on my rifle. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Great forum by the way.  My guns does have the adjustable trigger. I think thats y i can shoot it so accurately. Thanks Matt.

You might want to debur and polish your trigger assembly. Something is preventing your trigger to go pass the safety..could be the spring is squeezed and catching. Thankss alot, I'll have to give it a try. In the mean time, the more i shoot this thing the more accurate it is. It has exceeded my expectations by alot. Although im still saving money for a real beeman R1.

Also try adjusting the big screw behind the silver trigger blade clockwise..your setting might be too light that's why the safety falls back to safe when in the process of squeezing the trigger. Don't forget to positively hold the barrel when cocking your RS2. I make this a habit and one time I was making adjustment to the trigger..I heard the click sound and was about to load it and bump the stock to my hip and it unhook itself, good thing I was holding the barrel.

I had both of mine tuned by John in PA (I have one with the cloth case that I keep broken down for easy use, and one that I keep in the .22 barrel on and is usually in the gun cabinet). THIS WAS A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE! And believe it or not, the Wal-mart version with the adjustable trigger just absolutely rocks with a tune, I won't be spending more money on a breakbarrel because I'm so pleased with these.

I think beeman did a good thing with th RS2. Not everyone can afford to spend 400$ or more on an airgun. I love mine. I can't believe how well it shoots. I have as much confidence 30 yards and under with the rs2 as i do with my .22 when squirrel hunting.

I have 2 rs2's keep one set up for .22 and one for .177 both shoot great.I don't hunt but i would not hesitate to shoot anything up to Raccoon size with either one out to 30-35 yds.Both will penetrate both side's of a tin can at that distance! AND they like cheap daisy pellet's which is good as that's about all that is avail.around here.

Leo you sure have done your homework buddy. What I have noticed is that on the Beeman models that the trigger parts are waffered stamped out pieces and the TF 89 and Hammeirili Titans are solid cut out pieces. It is much easier to polish a solid surface than to polish the ones that are waffered together. They are never even accross the surfaces.

Just got an MM B-26 trigger was smooth but can't get it to break like the RS2's 1st and 2nd stage which is very distinguished. It surely pays to read post and tricks from GTA shipmates opppps...buds!!
