Im Still At It,,,, ")
« on: December 03, 2009, 12:05:22 PM »
I am more intense than ever trying to get my new stock buisness off the ground folks. I spend EVERY spare moment I have in the shop. While I look every day at Marauder 001 up on the shelf only needing a little final shaping,,, I am focused right now on developing Discovery stocks & learning how to operate my new duplicator machine. Im getting a better feel for the machine now. Yesterday I duplicated my first Disco stock inletting,,,, DISMAL FAILURE!!To say I was heart broken would be a huge understatement. Nice fit for sure,,, but it pointed off "Left Field" like you would not believe!! Long story short,, I figured out the problem & Im back on my game!!Stay tuned Folks,,,, Im gonna have some exiting new products soon!! WORD!!Timbo.

Square and plumb - words I heard my grandfather and dad say so often. They were both carpenters, I am a welder and steel fabricator and I live by these words as well

P.S. When I forget that, the cussin is not far behind
I know there is a fine line between a hobby and an obcession, to bad I sped over it at about a hundred !!

My grandfather and dad always said "straight and true" and "it's all in the setup", they were both machinists :-)

Once you have your machine set up right, you will be making some fabulous furniture!
