The other day, digging through stuff in the back of my closet, I came across an old Beeman 35R scope, 3X20, with rings. It has a 3/4" body, and the rings, while somewhat removable, have no adjustment for the dovetail - they are just a solid piece of aluminum that flexes to clamp on the dovetail. I want to use it on one of my B-3 rifles, but I'm hesitant to spread them enough to fit on the receiver (the first rifle on which I used this was an RWS Model 36, and I was able to slip the mount on from the open back of the dovetail.)
I think my option at this point is to get some 3/4" rings, but my searches on the Web have come up empty to this point. Anyone have any suggestions as to who might carry them?
