hope u guys had a merry christmas and have a great new year.
« on: December 28, 2009, 12:45:06 AM »
hi guys i have been out and was not able to shoot and post much. due to some commitments the diana 34 p i was planning also did not materialize. but by now i am confused and need advice.
1) should i get a second air rifle in either a pcp or springer class rws 34 p ?
2) as i already have a pump and fitting adapters for the discovery ( which i absolutely love) should i get another discovery or mrod ?
3 ) or should i go for a talon with  the additional expense of getting its adapters and changing the fill set up every time i want to charge either gun  ?
4) have the issues with the mrod been ironed out? it is important as i cant ship the gun stateside for any repairs.

my budget for the above is a max of 500 dollars.
 :)
ps. shadow what the latest critter count with the discovery ?

A second  or more AG  is always better:) As for PCP or RWS 34 class guns, both have advantage and disadvantages I have both FX and RWS.. I would chose the one that you can service if need be:) ,IMO  It really depends on the type of airgunning you want to do?,  If me , I would go for the springer highest quality German you can afford and tuned. Reason for me is that we like to venture out, hours and sometimes a mile, mostly plinking and fun, "air supply"  is a big issue for us with sometime 3 kids shooting more than I thought possible :)  I am not familiar with the talon or mrod.   I hope you also had a merry Christmas and have a happy new year. Tony

thanks buddy. it shall be the RWS for sure as it can be serviced if need be. i have also shot more than the discovery permits and feel that a springer is necessary to give critters a fair chance and free me from the tether of the air supply.
