Well first thing this morning I got up and went out to the shop and turned the heaters on. Had my coffee while the shop was warming up. I took my new MPSS out to the shop along with my new CBT Trigger Mod my CDT. I then got my trigger scale out and checked the stock trigger for breaking weight. It has a long first stage which weighed out at about 5lbs. Got to the breaking point and it jumped up to 7.6 lbs to break. Almost as bad as a Gamo trigger on the break...

I checked it three times and it was within a couple ounces each time.
Removed the stock and removed the c-clip from the pivot pin on the trigger. Slid the pin out while holding onto the old trigger. Pulled the trigger blade out and removed the old spring. I then put the new CBT trigger kit spring in and put a drop of CDT's mistery oil on the seer. Dropped the new CBT trigger blade in and slid the pin back in and installed the c-clip. Put the stock back on and tightened the screws up good. Cocked and loaded a pellet and took a shot. Boy what a difference..

I shot a few more just to make sure everything was good to go and then went to the bench and checked the new trigger pull. The first stage was just a couple ounce pull and the trigger broke at exactly 2.3 lbs. The first stage had less than half the travel the original trigger hadThat is perfect for me. Did not have to make adjustments at all. What was so nice was the crisp break of the trigger. Something I am not used to.
I highly recommend the CBT Trigger to anyone who wants to improve there shooting and have a trigger that is totally predictable on the break.
I wanted to mention that the trigger came well packaged and has a link for instructions on installation.
