Very Happy with my Hunter
« on: January 21, 2010, 01:55:27 PM »
I've put 700 rounds through my Hunter Sport; I received New in mid December.  A few weeks after I got the rifle, I added "the trigger."  I disassembled it, cleaned, lubed, & lock tite the stock screws.  I'm shooting CPHP's at targets between 10-75 yards, the gun is great.  Only thing - barrel seal pealed a little; still fine condition, I order the four pack from Gamo yesterday.

The Scope:
In the beginning it moved around but now, I find the scope to hold zero very well.  It’s better quality then first though.  I understand it may go at some point, but so far I am impressed from this "package" scope. It’s held zero and as much as I'd like to upgrade, I just haven't found the reason.   It’s a nice looking AR and I enjoy the challenge of shooting this Springer.  There’s a lot of satisfaction in acing a shot with one of these. Glad I got one while I still could.

Good to hear you're enjoying that shooter.   Sounds as if you've got it dialed in just right ;)

As for the scope.... I'm a firm believer in "if it aint broke don't fix it"..... so it if it's working well for you then leave it and enjoy

Looking forward to your future posts re: the rifle.....
