A new air gunning tool.....
« on: February 08, 2010, 03:23:22 PM »
Got it finished.....At last..

My home made mill...
done its first cuts today...Not to bad
After a bit of shimming the table its just under .1 run out...

The head not only rotates but can slide foward & aft..
Has a 100:1 gear box for the table lifter....

But I think I need to build another table with longer slides...

I can now start on my PCP..I want to build from scratch...

Brilliant... a home made mill! I love the ingenuity.

I think, on the runout you might mean something other than 0.100"... yes? A few more zeros between decimal point and one?
Cheers,
C
