ruger air hawk with barrel drop

I have a ruger air hawk as one of the guns my boys shoot when they come to visit but it has barrel drop and even with the scope shimmed it shots horrible I'm wondering if this can be fixed or is it just another throw away I'd hate to lose a 120.00
