My CFX is complete
« on: February 25, 2010, 01:00:41 AM »
First I would like to thank everyone for there responses and I am glad I found this forum there is allot of very helpful knowledgeable air gunners here definitely FIRST CLASS. The rifle came together nicely the breech is incredibly smooth to operate and is no longer an issue it's accuracy is far better and more consistent than ever before and feel that it is almost unfair to any critter at the 20 yard range, longer ranges will be tested when the snow melts. I do not have a crony to test for fps but I will say the rws hyper fast pellets are all cracking very load which never did before and I do not use these pellets for I could not hit anything with them. I will post again when the barrel chop,re crown and muzzle break are complete I'm only doing this because I did not like what I saw under the factory break. Once again thank you    Robert.

Good to hear that you got it all sorted out.  Be careful of very light weight pellets, the general opinion is that shooting them is like dry firing which is bad for your spring and seal. snookman

If it's shooting good, I'd leave the barrel length alone for now.  Your groups might tighten up some more with more shooting.
