Air arms question
« on: March 05, 2010, 05:47:22 PM »
What's the difference between the S400 and the S410?

Just the magazine in the S410? Other than that I don't see anything..

Basically the 400 has a bolt action single shot where the 410 is lever action multi shot. There are other differences as well. AA mixes things up a bit sometimes..:) I had to read allot before I bought my first one... I have a AA 410 Carbine which has the bolt action multi shot...:) Then AA came out with the lever action. Keep asking qauestions Matt. That is what did..:)

The top AA 410 Carbine 12 FPE, with bolt and multi shot. The bottom picture is AA 410 Classic full power lever action, multi shot...:) Both .177

The S400 comes in a side level also. I just got one. After I bought the S400, I found out the S410 can be used as a single shot by using an adapter.

If I had to do it all over again, I would go with the 410 and adapter.

I also believe that the AA S410 can be had in both 12 ft lb and FAC ( ERB ) variants.  All the ERBs have the side lever ( afaik ).
