It has arrived B26-2
« on: March 22, 2010, 08:56:04 AM »
after pulling off some real sneaky maneuvers to be for sure the kids did not see me opening a new box (because they can not help but tell on me). I really am pleased with my decision to purchase this gun it is a real beauty and feels awesome coming to the shoulder and to my surprise on the first shot "THERE WAS NO TWANG" but wait this is a springer. the only down fall I see is the safety, it would not be a problem if it were to push off right to left but it is what it is and I'm sure that won't stop me from enjoying it. the wife has a council meeting tonight so I will get the time to shoot from the 20 yard bench in the basement tonight, I will post my thoughts on accuracy later I know it will need a good break in period so no since in waiting.

sorry for such small images but my software seems to shrink to much any ideas,  i see others photos much larger i must be doing something wrong.

Sweet looker. It seems like they still use the same finish as the old -2, color and sheen look the same. That is some tough stuff- I know since I stripped one.

That is a very nice stand/vise/toolbox arrangement as well.

Don't forget to break her in a little before sweating the groups. Mine was respectable out of the box but they get better with shooting.

i have to say i just put a bunch of pellets thru and groupings at twenty yards were in the 1/2 inch range not so bad for not broken in yet.

Nice. Wish mine was a low comb stock. They just seem to get better with more pellets. Mine really likes the JSB 14.3 exacts. I don't have the luck some here do with pictures but this has helped a little http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ . I use 75% and better for the quality. Also on my camera I use the PC setting. Maybe someone else has some of the real tricks that result in the great pic's some are able to post.

Don't forget to try several different brands of pellets. Mine didn't care for CP Domes or CPHPs but it loves Beeman FTS and H&N Field Target Tropheys. The right pellet for your gun makes all the defference for tight groups.
