Well it was very nice out today so i took my 2 sons(2 and 3 yrs old) out for a lil hiking
i put on the holster for the P1 and grabbed a couple tins of pellets. We went to the mountain for a while saw some nice song birds, and a Snowy Owl, I guess the owl has been sighted around for a few weeks now. And a Ton of chipmunks. Well once we got to the top of the mmountain there were lotsa Blackflies around so we through out a handful of animal crackers and started shooting the flies off em from 10-30 feet.
I filed the Sight on the P1 to a point Like a triangle and it makes my distance shoot much tighter.
I was getting pretty good at getting the flies also. My kids were Loving it saying "get mem Bugs DDAaaaDY"
well the chipmunks were all over also i took aim but didnt squeeze as the kids were feeding peanuts. these things kept coming back up for more so I let them pass in Exchange for the Biggest smiles ever from the boys watching these thing take the peanuts. Well we were sitting there and a few Starlings got brave and kept stealing the crackers and peanuts from the Chipmunks so my oldest said "daddy get them meanie Birds" so i took aim an thunked one from about 15 yards perfect wing shot, well these guy must not be hunted up here cause the other one flew down by his comrade for investigation and i nailed it dead in the back of the head.
well we went on down the bottom of mountain and went by the lil pond wt the enterance where the stream enters and tossed in some lil sticks and shot them as they moved in the current. Overall it was a great day hikin and the bis loved shooting the gun(they shot too, with my help
