Today we had a great time. I was out doing some yard work when my son in law came over. He was bored and wanted to shoot the air guns. I wasn't really in the mood, but I grabbed the Air Hawk for him.
After seeing how much fun he was having, I grabbed the Jaymo TF 99 Special and started dropping the Gamo Squirrel with ease. He thought it was the gun, and I handed him the 99 and kept popping the squirrel with the Air Hawk.
My daughter saw the fun, and I told him to fetch her the Whisper since it is so easy to shoot. She can cock it, while the others are too hard for her. She was deadly with it! Shooting cans, the squirrel target, and generally anything she desired to hit.
Now Zack was REALLY frustrated as his dad in law and his wifey were showing him up! If that wasn't bad enough Leah (Grandma) decided that she wanted to shoot. I showed her how to load and shoot the Jaymo Special. The first time she NAILED the squirrel at 30 yards dropping it.
It was starting to get pretty dark. I tried to show him how to shoot it better, but it just got too late.
He was pretty humbled when an old man and two GIRLS showed him up.
(I don't know if he knows that my wifey is a tomboy and has shot most of her life. My daughter has learned very well and follows instructions. I taught her the artillery hold, breath control, etc and she does the rest)
