Ok peeps just finished with the Big Cat. Total mods GRT trigger, Macarri tune kit used apex seal, just filled the stock, upgraded scope and rings.
Just got done filling the stock with expanding foam and it is the last peice of the puzzle! Realy got rid of the hollow noise left after everything else.
The tune kit got rid of alot of noise and jump and recovered the velocity.
The trigger is awesome. Helps shoot very accurate. Takes out all the creep.
Upgraded to the Gamo 1 peice base and Gamo 3x9 scope that came with the hunter sport combo. Will go to the leapers tactedge when she's ready.
After all these mods it shoots very close to my nitro piston hunter as far as how smooth it is. And it's so easy to cock, does not aggregate the tendanitis in the elbows. Very nice to shoot! I am getting 901 fps avg with 7.33 gr jsb and 1/2 in groups at 25 yards. This thing is not the same gun.
Thanks to everybody here that helped me find the parts, build the spring compressor and encouraged me to tune my guns myself! This place is awesome. Thanks for all the expertise! My daughter loves this gun and I am impressed with it also. Just seeing the smile when she blast paint balls at 35 ft is cool.
