They are decent, solid guns. Jeremy would know how to make them a little better!
Check the crown, if he didn't get around to that, a polish job will pay dividends. Other'n that the biggest challenge was keeping the stock screws tight. The trigger can only be so good, but i had smoothed mine out pretty well and it was predictable- that's half the battle.
I still wouldn't rule out the MM magic but it was very cool of Compasseco to back you up. Enjoy. The wood was pretty nice for a Chicom cheapie! That gun should have some sling swivels. I put the Centerpoint 16x on her and it was a hefty load, but really accurate, and pretty hot as I recall. I think I was shooting well into the 900s.
